Pete was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., and moved to Augusta, Ga., for high school. He has lived in South Carolina, Alabama, North Carolina and Florida. After graduating from Augusta State University with a degree in History, Pete and his wife, Amanda, a Florida native, moved to Charleston, S.C., where they worked at a large resort. On a bitterly cold day in 2003 they decided to move to Punta Gorda, Florida, and they love it!
Pete has known Chris since they were young, and actually met Amanda at Chris and Betsy's magical wedding. It turns out that Amanda's father and Chris's father had been the best of friends.
Pete and Amanda are now the proud parents of Casey Thomas Wood. Born in November of 2004, Casey is happy and healthy. They live on Shell Creek and enjoy fishing, boating, and gardening.
Pete's main focus on the team is his work with buyers. He will be happy to assist you in any and all aspects of the purchase process.
